Have ever dreamed of riding a good horse to the pub, tying it up outside and walking a few steps to the bar?

Whether you have never even been near a horse or have spent your life around them, Bellrowan’s Pub Ride is a complete experience …

Arrive at midday on the first day, spend some time with your horse and receive a tuition before heading out on a one our trail ride through Bellrowan Valley, enough time to get relaxed on your mount and find your rhythm. Then set off to Beechwood (a beautiful riverside village only 25mins from the popular holiday spot, Port Macquarie).

From Bellrowan Valley we ride through neighbouring properties, winding through rainforest pockets, native bushland and rolling pasture. At the halfway point the camp fire is burning with a cup of billy tea on the boil and fresh damper to warm your insides. Beechwood is seen in the distance with the famous Bago Bluff as the backdrop. With the pub as the destination it's hard not to feel a sense of excitement at having that first beer (or shot of Whiskey!), Then relax, standing with your fourlegged friend on the verandah outside. After a few refreshments we wander next door to the Beechwood Cellars where Eric will indulge you with delicious tastings of his Ports, Sherries and Muscats all stored in 300 litre oak barrels. You are guaranteed to walk away with some very inexpensive and great wines.

After raising a rose on your cheeks dinner is served back at the pub. The Beechwood Hotel is a classic country pub with friendly locals and that spacious relaxed feel. In the cooler months the fire is burning warmly and the pool table and jukebox gets a workout by everyone. At anytime you can wander outside around the back of the pub and visit the horses who are grazing and resting for your return ride in the morning. Whenever you are ready to retire for the night you are transferred to your accommodation close-by, After a big night everyone is grateful that we have a late start, and big breakfast to give you the steel for the return ride from Beechwood. On your return to Bellrowan Valley, Julie’s delicious BBQ spread awaits you.

You can decide to extend your stay at Bellrowan Valley. As many riders have said, "it's so hard to leave!", so you may want to have an extra day up your sleeve when you come to visit!
